What is a Manna AI request?
A request is one thing you ask Manna to do. Examples: “Who hasn’t served in two months?”, “Draft a follow-up text for Rachel,” or “Summarize this week’s attendance.” One question or task counts as one request, however long the answer is. Requests reset every month.
What is a Smart Schedule run?
A run is one time Manna builds a schedule for you. You pick the team and the dates, and Manna fills every slot based on availability, preferences, and how often each person has served. A run covers a whole month for a team, so most churches use only a handful each month.
What is Background Intelligence?
It’s Manna AI working when you’re not asking it anything. It notices when someone starts drifting, when a team is short for Sunday, or when a follow-up has gone quiet, and it brings those to you before they become problems. Your plan sets how often it checks:
- Weekly: once a week, ready for your Monday Reflection.
- Daily: every morning.
- Continuous: the moment something changes.
What doesn’t count as a request?
Most of what happens in Manna isn’t a request. These are all free and unlimited on every plan:
- Volunteers accepting or declining.
- Automatic reminders.
- Team chat.
- Your weekly Reflection.
- Background Intelligence.
- Looking at schedules, profiles, or reports.
What happens if we hit our limit?
Nothing breaks. Manna keeps working, your schedules stay live, and your volunteers never notice. We’ll let you know you’re running close, and you can decide whether it’s time to move up.
Does Manna AI see what people give?
No. Giving amounts never reach Manna AI. It can tell you that someone gives, but never how much. Pastoral care should never be shaped by a dollar figure.
What counts as a congregation member?
Everyone in your directory: members, regular attenders, kids, guests who filled out a Connect Card. If they have a profile in Manna, they count. It’s not your Sunday attendance number.
What’s the difference between staff and volunteer seats?
- Staff seats are for the people who run things. They build schedules, see the full directory, use Tend, and manage giving.
- Volunteer seats are for the people who serve. They get the volunteer app, see their own schedule, accept or swap, and chat with their team.
Do all plans get the same features?
Yes. Every plan includes Schedule, Tend, and Generosity, with nothing locked behind an upgrade. Plans differ only in size: how many people, how many teams, and how much Manna AI works for you.
Can we change plans later?
Anytime, up or down. There are no contracts on any plan.
